California Coast is proud to be one of four area credit unions cooperating to give members of modest means the opportunity to own a home in the San Diego market. Participating credit unions have pledged a total of $17 million toward the Home Loan Payment Relief (HLPR) program so that home loans can be offered at a more affordable rate.

The HLPR program, designed for median income homebuyers, offers a special HLPR mortgage that may benefit qualifying borrowers* in several ways: through lower monthly payment, by qualifying for a larger mortgage, or by lowering the income level needed for a given mortgage.

The loan is a three-year, adjustable-rate mortgage that will be offered to qualifying borrowers at one percent below the national average for these loans. Members can apply online or by visiting their nearest branch.

This program gives hard-working people with good credit the ability to achieve the American dream. California Coast is proud to make these loans available as part of its ongoing commitment to the community.
