Improved Overdraft Privilege Program Saves Time & Money

A great money and time saving service just got better! California Coast’s Overdraft Privilege program will cover ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions, in addition to returned checks presented against non-sufficienct funds, up to a maximum of $1,000. That means you can rely on this convenient service should you inadvertently overdraw your checking account when making an automated payment for items such as a gym membership, credit card, utility or loan. Overdraft Privilege will also cover bills paid using a phone pay system or online with Cal Coast Online’s free Bill Pay service.

While no one ever anticipates overdrawing an account, California Coast’s Overdraft Privilege can save you the inconvenience and embarrassment, as well as additional merchant fees from a returned check or declined ACH transaction. For each item covered by Overdraft Privilege, the standard Non-Sufficient Funds fee of $27 will be charged to your account. Approval of payment of reasonable overdrafts by California Coast Credit Union on accounts in good standing is only a discretionary courtesy, and not a right or obligation. This is within California Coast Credit Union's sole and absolute discretion, and can cease at any time without prior notice of reason or case.

California Coast Credit Union expects prompt repayment of overdrafts and you must bring your account balance positive at least once within each 35-day period for continued use of Overdraft Privilege.
