Real-time fraud alerts help you manage account activity and quickly identify potentially fraudulent transactions on your debit and credit cards. Automated alerts will be sent to your mobile phone using text messaging and/or pre-recorded digital voice phone calls.1
How Automated Fraud Alerts Work:
You will receive a text message and/or pre-recorded call on your mobile device when there is a potentially fraudulent transaction identified on your debit or credit card.
If the transaction is recognized:
Reply “No” to the text or phone call to confirm that you recognize the transaction(s).
Your card will remain available for use.
If the transaction is not recognized:
Reply “Yes” to the text or phone call to confirm that you do not recognize the transaction(s).
You may be instructed to call Fraud Detection.
A block will be placed on card to protect from further fraudulent transactions until a call is made.
If you do not respond to the text message within 30 minutes, you may receive a pre-recorded voice call to your mobile device and home phone number.
To enroll, simply sign into online banking, click the Alerts tab, select Fraud Alerts, and enter your mobile phone number and card information where prompted.
