Born in San Diego. Member-owned. Not-for-profit. Community-first.
Cal Coast’s story began with a singular vision: to enrich the lives of our members and make a difference in the communities we serve. We started by asking one fundamental question:
“What is in your best interest?”
With this as our driving principle, we set out to help our members achieve financial security. Our members look to us for guidance in making decisions that impact their family’s future, and it’s a trust we don’t take for granted. In turn, we simplify their lives so they can spend more time on the things that matter to them.
We go beyond providing financial solutions. Helping improve the lives of others is at the heart of everything we do. We are passionate about supporting the health and well-being of people in our community—it’s who we are. Working side by side with charities and organizations from San Diego to Riverside, our own Cal Coast employees give their time in support of local causes. We also remain committed to our educational roots, providing scholarships and grants to local students and teachers.
This passion for our community is what sets us apart. It’s also what makes Cal Coast such a great place to work. Our employees are the embodiment of Cal Coast’s values: honesty, sincerity and – most importantly – being real.
We wholeheartedly believe in delivering exceptional service, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because we genuinely care about our members. After all, we’ve been through so much together. We’ve watched members grow up, get married, have kids… We love being a part of many happy firsts! From first cars, first graduations, firstborns, and first houses, we count ourselves lucky to be part of your stories.
Cal Coast’s story is every member’s story. As we continue to grow, we’re writing new chapters every day. While the future remains uncertain, we know that wherever the waves take us, we promise to always stay true to what matters: your best interest.
This is California Coast Credit Union. Your credit union. What story can we help you write today?
The events of the last week have left all of us at California Coast Credit Union with emotions ranging from sadness to outrage. I want to express to our membership and our community how deeply grieved we are as a credit union by the ongoing acts of racial injustice and violence we are witnessing throughout the nation. We are horrified by the senseless killing of Black Americans now and throughout our country’s history.
Cal Coast continues its unwavering commitment to taking direct, substantive action to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at our credit union and in the community.
As a values based business, we stand with you and those who are underrepresented, in calling for change, respect, justice and peace. We are united in the belief that all forms of racial violence or oppression are not acceptable nor tolerated.
We are grateful to our employees and members who have already been a part of these conversations, including our Black employees and members who have shared their insights and leadership in these very difficult times. Now, more than ever, we will work together and stand united to make a difference.

Great branch and customer service at this location. I preferred sticking with this branch instead of joining Navy Fed or USAA after joining the military. I've never had a problem here.
Our members are our most valuable asset. That’s why everything we do — from the accounts, loans and rates we offer, to the personalized caring attention we provide — is designed to help you to achieve your goals.
