Early Paycheck FAQs

It depends. Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from your payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2 days earlier than the scheduled payment date.

It’s easy! Simply download our Direct Deposit form and follow the steps for enrolling.  All Cal Coast checking accounts, both business and consumer, are eligible to receive direct deposits. 

 

No! This is a free, automatic benefit for all Cal Coast members who have checking accounts with direct deposit.

If you already have direct deposit set up, you don’t need to do anything to get your paycheck early. It’s automatic!

No. Early access to your paycheck is an automatic feature when you set up direct deposit.

 

Yes. Savings accounts are also eligible to be set up for direct deposit.

  1. Referring Members: to qualify, the referring member must be an existing active California Coast Credit Union member in good standing. The referred member must be a new member to California Coast Credit Union, open a separate membership account, pay a one-time membership fee of $5, open a savings account and make a minimum deposit of $50 into a checking or savings account (balance must remain at $50 until incentive has been paid). An additional $25 dividend bonus is paid to the referring member when the referred member funds an auto loan within 30 days of account opening. Referral dividend bonuses are paid to the savings account within 3 business days of the criteria being met. Referring members can receive a maximum of $200 referral bonus, per new member referred maximum and a total of $500 in referral dividend bonuses per calendar year.
    Referred Members: To qualify, the referred member must be a first-time new member, meet membership eligibility and account opening criteria, be at least 13 years old, and open the required account types: savings account, checking account with eStatements, plus deposit and maintain at least a $50 balance in either account, and one of the following: enroll in Online Banking, use Bill Pay, or set-up Direct Deposit. An additional $25 dividend bonus is paid for an auto loan that is funded within 30 days of account opening and a $75 dividend bonus is paid for a real estate loan that is funded within 120 days (excludes credit cards and lines of credit). Any party involved in connection with the real estate transaction, including Real Estate agents, are not eligible for this offer. Referral dividend bonuses are paid to the savings account within 3 business days of the criteria being met, including maintaining a $50 balance. Additional Promotion Terms: Referring members must be 18 years old to participate in the Coast into Cash referral program. Referred members who are 13 to 15 years old require a parent or guardian to be joint on the account. Referrals are subject to verification. All related individuals may no longer qualify for this promotion and may not receive all or a portion of the bonus if, in California Coast Credit Union’s sole discretion, they are linked to an unqualified referral or misuse of the program. (b) Business Account Members: An active (one transaction a month, including but not limited to, Direct Deposit, Preauthorized Payments, Checks, ATM, POS, Debit Card, and Bill Pay) Business Checking account with eStatements OR a minimum balance of $5,000 in a Business Money Market account (fees charged, if applicable) OR a Business Line of Credit (LOC). You will have a 30-day grace period to meet the requirements. If the conditions are not met, the 5.00% APY may be reduced to the APY in effect for a 3-Month Certificate Account for the remainder of the term. Membership and credit subject to approval.
